He Wang

I am an tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Center on Frontiers of Computing Studies(CFCS) at Peking University and a research scientist at Beijing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence. Prior to joining Peking University, I received my PhD degree from Stanford University advised by Prof. Leonidas J. Guibas in 2021 and my bachelor degree from Tsinghua University in 2014.

My research goal is to build an interpretable and generalizable 3D vision system for robots and autonomous agents working in complex real-world scenes. At the intersection of computer vision, robotics, and computer graphics, my research works have been devoted to designing 3D perception algorithms and developing category-level object perception with a special focus on perceiving object actionable information that supports physical interactions.
