Md. Musfiqur Rahman

I am working as a research assistant in the Cognitive Agents and Interaction Lab (CAIL) in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka. Here I have been doing my research focusing on causal inference (most recent topic) and Multi-Agent system for the past 2 years. I started exploring causal inference after reading the book, "Book of Why" by Judea Pearl. I have recently submitted a paper in AAMAS 2021 on recursive causal structure learning that can detect d-separation violation cases during the partitioning process. I have an AI journal published in Springer, Applied Intelligence in the area of Multi-Agent System. I also have a short draft paper in this field. In addition to these research papers, I am working on a psychological project that provides mental help to university students and is funded by the ICT division, Bangladesh.

My research interest includes Causal inference, Causal discovery, Distributed Constraint Optimization Problem (DCOP), Graphical models and consistency, GDL based approaches and preference elicitation.
