Analysis of Conflicts between Medication, Adverse Drug Reactions and Diseases

Occurrence of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) is one of the major issues in the medical field. When patients with multiple diseases are prescribed with multiple medicines, adverse drug reactions occur due to the interactions among different medicines. Other than the interactions among medicines, factors such as life style, living environment and genetic inherent cause ADRs. This research mainly focuses on identifying ADRs occur due to the interactions among drugs. The solution proposes a way to identify ADRs through formal methods and provides alternative treatment plans. The outcome of this research can be used by medical officers as a medical assistant to ensure that prescribed medicines are not conflicting.
