Thomas Lukasiewicz

<a href="http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/thomas.lukasiewicz">Thomas Lukasiewicz</a> is a Professor of Computer Science and the Leader of the <a href="http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/people/thomas.lukasiewicz/isg-index.html">Intelligent Systems Lab</a> at the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford. He also holds an AXA Chair in Explainable AI in Healthcare and is a Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute, London. His research interests are in AI and machine learning. He received the IJCAI 2001 Distinguished Paper Award, the AIJ Prominent Paper Award 2013, the RuleML 2015 Best Paper Award, and the 2019 ACM PODS Alberto O. Mendelzon Test-of-Time Award. He is an associate editor for the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research and the Artificial Intelligence journal, and an area editor for the journal ACM Transactions on Computational Logic.
