His research activities focus on knowledge and information interpretation in Artificial Intelligence (AI); Corporate Smart Insight Systems and Knowledge-Generation. He researches trust generation to improve knowledge-based AI systems to facilitate modern technology and support its use; evaluation of design parameters in semantic annotation; Computer Information Systems (CIS); Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). He was the organizer and chair of the Qurator-2020 and 2021 conferences on digital curation technologies. He is involved in teaching (e.g. Semantic Web Technologies, Business Process Management) and am responsible for technical implementation and management of software projects.
