Alexander Lindmaa

Dr. Alexander Lindmaa is a theoretical physicist with a background in applied mathematics. He obtained his MSc and PhD from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University, where he studied various theoretical and computational aspects of condensed matter physics as well as artificial intelligence. He has worked on a number of topics including magnetism, functional theories, and quantum-mechanical many-body phenomena in correlated electron systems. His work on machine learning includes kernel learning, Bayesian learning, and deep neural networks. He has been working as a scientific advisor and consultant, and has been a visiting researcher at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
