New MDS self-dual codes over finite fields of r^2

In recent years, some new classes of MDS self-dual codes were construed. The method is to obtain new structure by generalized Reed-Solomon codes. In this paper, for some fixed q=r^2, we construct some new classes of MDS self-dual codes over F_r^2. It reveals that by choosing suitable subsets of F_r^2, more MDS self-dual codes with new parameters can be found.
